Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must first check whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to undergo the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install them in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
Original cut version No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is advisable to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if it were on track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and without number plate holder or any other parts that might conflict with the different gas angle due to conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will void the product's warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait for the standard repair time.
