Are db killers and removable catalytic converters allowed? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or removing the anti-tamper screws is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without suitcase, without flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion into racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the purchase date, with the right of repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
