Are dbkillers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of any issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is advised to read the instructions in the package or tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight, and license plate support or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of the product warranty and any claims will be denied. From the purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
