Are removable dbkillers allowed? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this can only be done for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise-approved; the customer must verify in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
It does not fit with original indicators. No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that could conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any ment request will be rejected. From the purchase date, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
