Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and catalyst or the anti-theft screws, or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is advisable to read the instructions in the package or tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or to the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
