Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, this is only permitted for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug-and-play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If any problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modifications of the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if it were on the track only, without luggage, without a light, and without a license plate holder or any other parts that may interfere with the altered gas angle due to the transformation into a race version. Misusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
