Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or the anti-tampering screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; it is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must verify in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend work, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
