The NAVTEX Series 2 Dual Frequency Antenna is an active antenna with a cable and is an intercommunication system allowing to transmit and receive emergency messages over the whole navigation area. NAVTEX is an international service for the dissemination of maritime safety information under the GMDSS.

Coupled with your NAVTEX receiver, you will be able to read and store NAVTEX messages and thus receive information on weather conditions durant your navigation.
