Northwave has delighted the CELSIUS XC GTX with an upgrade, so the winter mountain bike shoe now has optimised features for calm winter days. The GORE-TEX STORM XT 4L membrane ensures these mountain bike shoes are waterproof, wind-resistant, and breathable in equal measure. The X-DIAL SLW3 closure system allows for a precise adjustment for personalised comfort, while the ARCTIC 4LAYER insole, with a 4-layer design, provides warmth and insulation on the coldest rides.
The neoprene gaiter offers special elasticity and high thermal insulation, and the clever zip on the side makes the shoes ready to use immediately. The low design with a gaiter gives you better ankle flexibility while providing weather protection at the same time. The sophisticated flexible system at the toes maximises power transfer and comfort on all rides, and thanks to the JAWS EVO sole, you enjoy superior grip and stability on all surfaces. The winter shoes are completed with their wider tread and better rubber for reliable traction and confident pedalling.

GORE-TEX STORM XT 4L:
This membrane found in various northwave mountain bike shoes is, thanks to its insulating fibres, a good barrier against the cold for a milder winter. It provides good thermal insulation, gives total protection against rain and wind, and is very breathable as well.

JAWS EVO:
This is a sole made from thermoplastic material with a natural rubber profile for reduced weight and optimal grip even on difficult terrain. The sole combines XC performance with traction for safe walking on all surfaces. It features an advanced flexible system and arch support to transfer power to the pedal and provide a super comfortable feel, even when not cycling. The rubber profile offers excellent hold in all weather and terrain conditions.

SLW3 SYSTEM:
The quick lacing closure on the shoe promises perfect foot support and an ideal fit. It's quick and technical to use: you open and close the shoe in a few turns of the dial. On the large button of the dial, you adjust the cable to the millimetre. The opening can be done gradually or successively.

ARCTIC 4LAYER:
Insole with EVA + aluminium and EVA + pile for perfect insulation.
