Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or tamper-proof screws, or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check in advance if the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight, and without license plate support or other parts that would conflict with the altered gas angle due to the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to re-mount the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
