Thanks to its size and padding (Multi Sector System), it's ideal for off-road use as well as for daily commuting and leisure activities. The Proxim W400 is available in two widths: 153mm (for more sporty use) and 163mm (for more trekking, leisure and commuting use). Thanks to its reduced length (255mm), contact points and pressure peaks in the perineal area are reduced. Proxim's key points are : - MSS Multi Sector System: this system provides different mapped and separated zones on the saddle, each composed of different interactive foams and padding with a single separate cell. The zones operate autonomously, adapting to any position the rider may adopt while pedaling. - OPTIMIZED BASE: wider and angled downwards. ACTIVE BASE SYSTEM: an avant-garde system that uses a base with a hole for excellent pressure relief, greater pressure distribution thanks to a larger support surface, and guarantees protection against water/mud during the most critical weather conditions. - NEW FOAMS: the new, softer and larger foams used on the W400 guarantee a high level of comfort, enabling the cyclist to spend long rides seated on the saddle (1cm thick for the 153mm version; 1.7cm thick for the 163mm). - Rear handle and REFLECTIVE GRAPHICS: The saddle is equipped with a rear "handle" to make moving the bike easier, and a graphic with reflective materials to enhance safety.
