Offering impressive freedom of movement for extreme ascents, the Ascendor Alpine pants are essential for winter mountaineers. The most durable and protective of the Ascendor range, they are made from Matrix™ 2-layer laminated softshell fabric, highly resistant to both wind and weather. This supple, medium-density fabric keeps you warm when the weather gets rough, and reinforcements protect the lower legs from rough terrain and crampon blows. The Ascendor Alpine pant adapts to all body shapes thanks to its semi-adjustable waistband, Velcro waistband, and the fact that it can be worn with a belt or removable suspenders. The high waist makes it easy to put on the harness at port, while the preformed knees and long gusset give you total freedom of movement when climbing. Two invisible zippered thigh vents ensure good ventilation, while the zippered ankle gusset allows the hem to widen to fit over heavy winter climbing boots. The Ascendor Alpine pant has two front hand pockets and a back pocket with reliable YKK zippers.These rugged, technical climbing pants are the ideal companion for winter conditions and low temperatures on mountain routes.
