Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-theft screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations, it is only permissible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is needed for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust comes with a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the gas due to conversion to racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any request for a refund will be rejected. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
