Are removable db killers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only permissible for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must first check if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in races; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, number plate holder, or other parts that may conflict with the different angle of gas following the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
