Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fittings is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalytic converter or GPR catalytic converter is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. If issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials online or on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to converting to racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, there is a right to repair with the return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
