Rab Hooded Jacket Vital

Made from our own Atmos™ fabric with a fluorocarbon-free DWR water-repellent finish, the Vital hooded jacket is windproof and water-resistant. Weighing just 130 g and highly compressible, it's very versatile and easily packs away in your backpack for spring and summer mountain trips, providing instant wind protection when you need it. Breathable, quick-drying, and with a classic fit, it stays comfortable all day.

The hood has a stiff peak, an adjustable volume device at the back, and an elastic opening to keep it in place when the wind blows. The jacket features a YKK® full-length zip with an internal storm flap to prevent airflow and a fold-down chin guard to stop the zip from rubbing. A smart snap closure on the chest allows the zip to double as a vent to release heat while keeping the jacket in place. The offset shoulder seams ensure your comfort under a backpack. The elasticated cuffs prevent wind from getting in, and the two zipped pockets let you stash your gloves or beanie if needed.
