This is especially true for your wheels, as they play a crucial role in your overall experience. That’s where the new Crossmax XL comes in, the best aluminium trail wheel we’ve ever designed.

The design of the rims uses our Fore technology, which includes a completely sealed upper bridge, allowing you to forgo a rim tape. Each wheel thus weighs 30 grams less and spares the cyclist from installing a rim tape before fitting a tubeless tyre.

The internal width of the rim, 30 mm, is perfect for optimising the performance of all modern trail tyres. Its very sturdy triangular profile is specifically designed to absorb shocks from the terrain.

Our Black Shield technology gives it a unique finish, ensuring protection against scratches and abrasion.

To achieve the delicate balance between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance, we use 24 straight spokes. The hubs feature a stiffer and lighter structure, further improved by the reliable quick-engagement dual ratchet ID360 system.

This pair of wheels is designed for 6-bolt or Center Lock brake discs and is compatible with Shimano HG9, SRAM-XD, and Micro Spline freehub bodies.

Available only in 29" and compatible with Boost axle sizes (front 15x110, rear 12x148), it comes with UST Tubeless valves, spare spokes, and accessories.

With a completely sealed rim thanks to Fore technology, changing and fitting tubeless tyres is a breeze. The upper bridge is not drilled, which helps enhance the rim's stiffness and durability.
