Design philosophy
The idea of using neoprene as a barrier against the cold has been commonplace in wetsuits since the 1950s, but has only recently been adopted for cycling. The theory was: if it can retain body heat when immersed in near-zero degree water, it can keep your hands warm on the bike. High-quality ultra-stretch neoprene makes gant comfortable and snug-fitting, easy to put on and take off. Its terrycloth lining wicks away moisture and adds extra warmth.
