Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tampering screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not in compliance with public road regulations.

Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.

The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without saddlebags, flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to conversion to a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, there is the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one for repair; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
