Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with traffic regulations on public roads.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise; the customer must first check if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the road network and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of any issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for the installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or other pieces that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
