Are removable dbkillers allowed? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only permissible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must verify in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and seek immediate information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit only applies to local citizens and not to tourists.
2 IN 1 No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle only on track, without bags, without lights, and without a license plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different throttle angle due to the conversion to racing version. Misusing this situation on the road will void the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
