Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-theft screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public roadway regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if having the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with roadway regulations and to complete the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on a track only, without saddlebags, flashlights, and number plate holders or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of the product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one for repair; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
