Are db killers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight, and registration plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the altered gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Misusing this situation on the road will void the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair at the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
