Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on roads is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: This item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspections.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but installation in a professional workshop is recommended. No claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific certification is provided, as well as installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, number plate support, or any other parts that could interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
