Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, and the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the assembly instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If any problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for locals and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is advised to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without torch and number plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR's factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one being repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
