Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on the track, using the open version on the road does not comply with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions, each silencer has the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately ask for information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that could interfere with the different throttle angle due to the transformation into a race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product's warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
