Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalytic converter or the GPR catalytic converter is necessary in their country to comply with road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activities, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to the racing version. Misusing this situation on the road will void the product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repairs.
