Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer or the catalyst or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is possible only for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with the public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommended installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without a bag, torch, number plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the time of purchase, repair rights apply with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
