Db killers and removable catalytic converters? Altering the welds on db killer and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not conform to road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you buy online, it is recommended to purchase the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items suitable for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that could interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty and any request for a refund will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
