Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; it is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
