Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations, it is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise; the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different angle of gas due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, starting from the time of purchase, with the right of repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
