Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during the installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without torch and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different throttle angle due to the transformation into racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
