Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not in line with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public highway regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the public road network and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not only illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and license plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with returns to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
