Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-theft screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is certified for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bag, flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must accept to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
