Installation kit: This silencer is from the Bolt-on series, it does not require a connector, it can be installed directly onto the original collector using the supplied bolts and the related fascia/support kit.
Original GPR product, developed through extensive experience in the World Motorcycle Championship, offers an innovative design, increases performance, significant weight reduction, and enhances the bike's sound.
Are removable db killers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on roads does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the public road network and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install them in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activities, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlight, and without license plate holder or any other parts that could conflict with the altered gas angle due to the change to a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. This starts from the date of purchase, with the right to repair by returning it to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
