Are removable db killers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
NUMBER PLATE SUPPORT INCLUDED. No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on track only, without bags, without torch and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, repair rights with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
