Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for use in RACING on tracks. Using the open version on roads is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, and each silencer bears the homologation code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
Low exit RX No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and registration plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, starting from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR's factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
