Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not in accordance with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend work, and to request information and/or advice from customer service immediately.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
Low exit RX. No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust comes with a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, without torch and license plate holder, or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
