Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-theft screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is non-compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must first check whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the public road and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in the event of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
Low RX exit: No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and without a number plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the conversion to the race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair by returning it to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
