Are removable db killers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-theft screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. The use of the open version on the road is not in accordance with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided along with the installation instructions, and each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, or license plate holder, or any other parts that could interfere with the gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty and any warranty claims will be rejected. This is effective from the date of purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
