Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. In case of any issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
Standard position. No structural modification of the bike is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, or license plate holder, or any other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with repair rights returning to the GPR factory or the closest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one for repair; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
