Oxford 's range of urban-style products is expanding. The new Parka jacket now sits alongside our Kickback and Supershell jackets, as well as our leggings and women's jeggings, to create a range of products that are practical if you're cycling and also cross the casual clothing line. This new men's parka is quite a special jacket. and features Rainseal technology fromOxford, making it a versatile performer for the scooter or commuter cyclist. A long jacket with integrated laminated layer construction, so it's lightweight, waterproof and breathable. Featuring cyclist-friendly features, it has a removable hood and high collar to offer extra protection against wind and weather, with or without the hood. The parka features a buttoned front placket for extra protection against the elements, an inner storm flap with stop flanges to keep the elements out in inclement weather, and is secured with a Vislon YKK zipper for added reliability. Abrasion-resistant panels made from 100% nylon on the shoulders and elbows make this a tough jacket that will go the distance in the cut and thrust of a daily commute. The jacket comes with CE level 1 protection on shoulders and elbows, and a custom pocket for accessory back protection for that extra level of protection. A snap fastener is provided at the bottom of the jacket, as well as a shortened zip, essential for a long jacket. This allows the wearer to sit down while riding. There's an internal drawcord at the waist for adjustment. Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets on the chest, with two large, water-resistant pockets with additional handwarmer pockets further down the front of the jacket. The cuffs have 2 levels of adjustment via snap fasteners and a fold-down reflective panel to make the wearer truly visible at night from the side. Walking or riding, a very good safety feature. A Lycra gaiter is included to keep the wind out of the sleeve. The inside of the jackets features a zipped Napoleon pocket and two additional large pockets.
