The DRY2DRY® trilaminate fabric, already used on the original Hinterland, delivers exceptional performance with a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and breathability of 10,000 g/m² / 24h. The trilaminate construction from Oxford combines three layers of fabric: a durable nylon outer layer for protection, a waterproof and breathable membrane, and a soft knitted lining for added comfort and durability. A durable water repellent (DWR) C0 (eco-friendly) treatment creates a hydrophobic surface, allowing water to bead and slide off effortlessly.

The Hinterland 2.0 features a mid-height button flap over the central zip, optimising wind and water protection in strategic areas while keeping the lower part of the jacket flexible. For optimal ventilation, the flap folds back and closes magnetically with one hand. The opening of the central zipper reveals a MAXFLOW abrasion-resistant ventilation panel that channels airflow along the length of the jacket. This panel, along with direct ventilation zips on the forearms and back ventilation, ensures optimal air circulation.

CE AA certified, the Hinterland 2.0 is reinforced with TPU shoulder sliders for enhanced protection. CE level 2 protectors are integrated into the shoulders and elbows, and the adjustable height elbow pockets allow for a custom fit.

Despite its streamlined silhouette, the Hinterland 2.0 offers generous storage capacity. Two large side pockets with expandable pleats complement a spacious back pocket, all secured with waterproof zips. The fit is managed by hook-and-loop straps at the biceps and waist, while a drawstring at the hem blocks drafts. A drawstring with safety eyelets at the back of the collar allows for adjusting the neck opening and prevents wind and rain from getting in.
