PRO Tank Ring

SW-MOTECH has designed this PRO tank ring to fit the KTM 990 Duke.

The PRO tank ring perfectly combines the innovative strength of two German companies: the proven QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism from SW-MOTECH tank rings is now even easier to use thanks to the magnetic guidance from technology by Fidlock. We have significantly improved the positioning of the upper tank ring: the sliding upper tank ring is already pre-assembled onto the tank bag with a guide rail, so there's no need to drill into the bag yourself.

Thus, the positioning of the upper tank ring is customizable on the guide rail located on the bottom of the tank bag. Once the correct position is reached, the upper ring is securely screwed in place. In case of changing motorcycles, it's possible to adjust the upper ring's position.

The magnetic guidance system developed by Fidlock complements the proven mechanical QUICK-LOCK step locking of SW-MOTECH. Magnets guide the upper tank ring to the desired position on the ring and the lock engages securely. The strength of the magnets aids in installing the tank bag. The tank bag is attached and detached in a snap - the luggage is securely fastened and such convenience is a real pleasure.

The stepped locking mechanism ensures the tank bag is held in place, and the magnets bring the two parts of the ring together. The robust polyamide reinforced with glass fibres and its high-precision geometry ensures that the tank bag doesn’t move, regardless of road conditions.

The patented PRO tank ring is designed to fit the original fuel filler geometry of various motorcycle models. This ensures ideal positioning on the tank.
