Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the road network and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of any issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the change to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any warranty claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
