Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalytic converter or tamper-proof screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. If you encounter problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and promptly seek information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without panniers, without torch and number plate holder or other parts that could conflict with the different throttle angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of the product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot supply a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
