Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on roads is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must first check if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as mounting instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or to view tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if it were on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and without a number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different throttle angle following the conversion to a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair and return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
