Original GPR product, developed from extensive experience in the World Motorcycle Championship, offers innovative design, increased performance, significant weight savings and improved sound of the bike.
Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-theft screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, torches, license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of the product warranty. This is from the date of purchase, with a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
