Are removable dbkillers allowed? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without saddlebags, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
