Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalytic converter or GPR catalytic converter is required in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to complete the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer has the homologation code. In case of problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without saddlebags, without headlights, and license plate holder or other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
